Experience the Difference of a Local, Family-Owned Home Builder in North Alabama 

I did not want to write this review prematurely, as in I wanted to experience the whole building process and move into my home before I reviewed Murphy homes. We love our new home! Charlie and Clay were amazing and easy to work with. We did experience a few hiccups, you know the kind that come in a normal building process, and Murphy homes was quick to respond and fix our issues. This for us, was a stress free build. From the design to the construction management all aspects of the build process was handled for us. It doesn't get much easier or better than Murphy homes. All our friends and family love the finishing touches and craftsmanship of our new home. Not to mention how inviting and awesome this neighborhood is for new families and kids. I was worried once we signed for the house we would be left to ourselves if there is any issues or a unknown 1-800 number I am relieved to know that I'm working with the same people that built me my home. We have been in our home for just over 30 days, Murphy homes has scheduled a follow-up at 30-days to fix any issues that we may have from living in the home. We had a few issues and they've already warrantied and guaranteed to fix them. I like that once I've already given them the money Murphy homes still stands buy their products and are continuing to produce quality products. I truly believe you cannot go wrong with a Murphy home!

Very good to excellent contractor and home builder. Charlie Murphy and his staff are wonderful to work with and very responsive. Our new build by Murphy Homes is in progress And is coming along nicely. We love the "Jefferson" house and look forward to move-in. If you are looking to build a new home, Charlie Murphy and his company Murphy Homes is who you want. We have seriously tried other builders, JBH, Woodland, and others in Madison. Results were not good and efforts failed during contracting. Murphy Homes in Madison is the best of all of them. Thanks Murphy Homes!

We moved here 2 years ago. This neighborhood is truly amazing. We love the fact that Murphy homes supports neighborhood events. Christmas parties, cook outs, Easter Parties. Murphy homes is always willing to help on these events. We really have been blessed to be a part of such a great community!

We had an out-of-subdivision build in Athens, AL, and loved every part of the planning, building, and post construction process. Charlie and the entire team were wonderful to work with, and we highly recommend them.

The homes are well made and sound. They are very customizable for you to build a beautiful home of your dreams. Our favorite part about living here is the small neighborhood feel full of kids and community.
